Samuel Lopez is the coach of Carlos Alcaraz (ATP #2). Lopez — described by Alcaraz as “one of the best coaches in the world” — brings a methodical, humble, and serious approach to maximizing an already-elite player. Lopez joined Alcaraz’s team in December 2024 and became head coach after longtime mentor Juan Carlos Ferrero parted ways in December 2025.
