Pictures from Day 4 of 2014 Australian Open

After heat and rain delays play went late into the night on Day
4 of the 2014 Australian Open. Enjoy these pictures from
selected Day 4 matches.

The Monfils v Simon match was moved to Hisense Arena at the end
of the scheduled sessions, and any ticket holders were allowed
in to what is usually a Tickets Only venue. That match was
played with the roof closed due to rain. But when the rain
stopped and play resumed on the outside courts there was
literally a Tennis Smorgasborg of top players to watch; Del
Potro, Simon, Cilic, Lopez, Dimitrov, Verdasco and Raonic. The
huge match of night turned out to be Nick Kyrgios versus Benoit
Paire, a five setter on Margaret Court Arena which had Nick
cramping in the final stages, massive home crowd cheering and
Benoit ultimately winning.

Let the pictures tell the story…
