Tennis on Campus is a USTA program that allows non-varsity tennis players to practice and compete against other college teams.
In our division, we will likely (it’s our first season as a team) play against local colleges with teams such as Villanova, UPenn, Drexel, St. Joe’s, Penn State, and others. As soon as the schedule is posted, we will add it here and on the Facebook page.
Fall Season begins in September
The Tennis on Campus format is co-ed and similar to World Team Tennis (WTT). We will field a team comprised of:
Men’s singles
Women’s singles
Men’s doubles
Women’s doubles
Mixed doubles
Scoring will be based on total games won and total games lost in pro sets. We will go over this in practice.
Practices for the upcoming season are ongoing. Like our FaceBook page to be kept in the loop.
Do NOT play tennis if you:
Have been in contact with someone with COVID-19 in the last 14 days.
Are exhibiting any symptoms of the coronavirus. According to the CDC, people with COVID-19 have had a wide range of symptoms reported—ranging from mild symptoms to severe illness.
These symptoms may appear 2-14 days after exposure to the virus: fever, cough, shortness of breath or difficulty breathing, chills, repeated shaking with chills, muscle pain, headache, sore throat, new loss of taste or smell.
